Dear DPrepians

It is with much great sadness that I bid you all adieu. This is my letter of resignation as Disney Prep’s Alice. Why you might ask? Because one, the OOC drama here is now more than I can handle and I just don’t feel as connected to the RP as I used to.  Secondly, I prefer not to affliated with a moderator, or shall I say two moderators now, who are immature and rude. If you think that I am being immature and rude for writing this, this is frustration pent up for almost five months. I was the first one to be accepted here and I watched this roleplay grow. And it is because of this, I cannot leave without writing this. I didn’t help create it by any means but it became my baby too. I would help defend it and for a time being, I was proud of being in a roleplay without so much hate. Now, not so much.

Denying FCs because you, yourself, are against it is not the proper excuse. Not only that, taking the roles without auditioning for them is not fair to anyone who has written an audition and has been waiting for days to be cast. Then when you’re done with them, you just take them down? What if there were people who wanted that role?

Relating to the Ella incident, that situation was not handled well at all. Hiding behind “she lied to us” is an utter lie. Just because you didn’t like her, does not mean you could drive her out of the roleplay. It was probably because you didn’t like her that caused her to hide from you, knowing fully well that if she had told you, you would have driven her out of the school and look what happened. Another thing is that if casting was done more efficiently, she wouldn’t have to send in two auditions. Now I admit I wasn’t fond of her (admitting this now before it’s used against me), but I would have never outed her the way you did. Your public message and answer to the anon was downright rude and the only one it made a mockery out of was you and this RP. Your lack of sensitivity astounds me.

You should be friendly to EVERYONE, not just only the ones you like. As mod, you’re suppose to treat everyone with respect and dignity. You want to be mod, you have to represent it with class. Picking favorites and losing the will to interact because some drama ensued then  whining about it on dash is also not professional.

So here’s my final “Lessons with Alice”:

1. Exclamation points and UPPERCASE letters are used to shout, exclaim!, or show enthusiasm. If you’re making an announcement, just put your message in the title bar. If you’re still not getting the attention you want, SHOUTING AT THEM DOESN’T MAKE IT STAND OUT MORE. It makes you look like a raging lunatic. Exclamation points use the same rule. Note: Showing excitement usually involves a positive note.
2. Making up your own rules as you go along is the reason why most revolutions start. Being a history minor, I thought you would be aware of this. You might have started this roleplay but we are the ones that keep it going. A good leader is one that also accommodates to the rest.
3. If you’re not being active enough and wondering why you’re failing, well it’s because you’re not being active enough. No one said you had to be on 24/7. If you don’t have time, get a new mod. Not one who has even less time than you.
4. As said earlier, treat everyone with respect. Just because you have a fuck the world attitude, doesn’t mean everyone else does. Some people are struggling just as much as you but in their own way.

If you put together the struggles of all the people in the world and redistribute them, everyone gets their share back.
